History
It all began around a kitchen table. In 1974, seven parents had a dream of preparing their children for a faith-based life on a strong foundation of academic excellence, community involvement and leadership. After several years of hard work, this visionary group founded Eastside Catholic High School in 1980. Against all odds, they built an independent, coeducational Catholic high school for the parishioners of the Eastside in a facility rented from the Bellevue School District.
More than 30 years after that initial kitchen table dream, the vision of our founding parents continues today. We are a unique school created by parents and dedicated to the faith and education of our sons and daughters. We are also a special community where students learn to integrate their thinking and believing in ways that encourage academic excellence, nurture relationships and inspire a life of leadership and service. In fall 2008, Eastside Catholic expanded to include grades 6 - 12.
On September 2, 2008, we joyfully and proudly celebrated the Campus Dedication of our permanent home in Sammamish. The event celebrated Eastside Catholic’s commitment to excellence, recognizing the hard work, dedication and perseverance of past and present board members, faculty and staff, students, parents and friends of Eastside Catholic.

Both the middle and high school uses Edline, a secure, interactive web site where teachers can share course information with students and parents, and where students and parents can check on assignments, attendance and grades. Edline is used in many schools nationally and internationally to improve students' educational experiences and to enhance parents' connections with the educational process.
