Polly Skinner is the principal of Eastside Catholic Middle School.
Skinner has a strong background in Catholic middle school education and a passionate commitment to the mission of Catholic education in the Pacific Northwest. Her professional career has spanned more than 30 years in the Seattle Archdiocese. Following her seven years of teaching experience at St. Benedict School in north Seattle, Skinner was named principal of the school and served in that role for five years. She then spent several years teaching at Forest Ridge School before being named Director of the Middle School there and recently completed her eleventh year as Head of School at Villa Academy. Skinner and her husband reside in Lake Forest Park and have two grown children, a son and a daughter. They are members of the St. James Cathedral Parish.
Skinner holds an M.A. in Education from Seattle University and received her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University.
